1. Agreement to Terms
By submitting a quote request, making a deposit payment, or booking any service with Planning By Lili ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"), you ("Client") agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Planning By Lili.
Planning By Lili is a professional event planning and decoration service operating in Miami-Dade County, Broward County, and Homestead, FL.
2. Booking & Deposit Policy
A booking is not confirmed until a deposit has been received and acknowledged by Planning By Lili. Submitting a quote request does not guarantee availability of your requested date.
• Quotes under $1,000 — 50% deposit required to secure your date
• Quotes of $1,000 or more — 30% deposit required to secure your date
The remaining balance is due on the day of the event, before decoration setup begins. Failure to provide the remaining balance at that time may result in cancellation of services without refund of the deposit.
Accepted payment methods: Zelle, cash, or other methods as agreed upon in writing.
3. Cancellation Policy
All cancellations must be submitted in writing via email to bookings@planningbylili.com.
• Cancelled 14 or more days before the event — full deposit refund within 7 business days.
• Cancelled less than 14 days before the event — deposit is non-refundable.
The remaining balance (total quote minus deposit) is due on the day of the event, before decoration setup begins. Services will not commence until the remaining balance has been received in full.
Planning By Lili reserves the right to cancel services due to circumstances beyond our control (force majeure). In such cases, a full refund of all payments received will be issued within 14 business days.
4. Rescheduling Policy
Clients may request one date change at no additional charge, provided the request is made at least 14 days before the original event date and subject to availability of the new date. Additional rescheduling requests may incur a $75 rescheduling fee.
Rescheduling requests made within 14 days of the event date will be treated as cancellations and subject to the cancellation policy above.
5. Services & Scope of Work
The services to be provided will be as described in the quote sent to the Client. Any changes to the scope of work requested after a quote has been accepted must be submitted in writing and may result in additional charges.
Planning By Lili will make every effort to source requested materials, colors, and décor elements as described. Substitutions of comparable quality may be made if specific items become unavailable, at our discretion and without notice, provided the overall aesthetic and style are maintained.
Setup and breakdown time is included in the service. The Client is responsible for ensuring Planning By Lili has access to the venue during the agreed setup window. Delays caused by lack of venue access may result in additional fees.
6. Client Responsibilities
The Client agrees to:
- Provide accurate event details including venue address, event date, and start time prior to the event.
- Obtain any necessary permits or approvals from the venue for decorations, including approval for open flames, hanging items, or other restrictions.
- Ensure a safe and accessible setup environment for Planning By Lili staff.
- Notify Planning By Lili of any allergies (e.g. latex sensitivity) that may affect material choices.
- Be responsible for any damage to décor items caused by guests or third parties during the event.
7. Rental Items
Certain décor items provided by Planning By Lili (such as chairs, tables, arches, stands, or specialty props) remain the property of Planning By Lili and must be available for pickup or returned in the same condition as provided.
The Client is responsible for the cost of repair or replacement of any rental items that are lost, stolen, or damaged during the event, at current replacement value.
8. Photography & Social Media
Planning By Lili reserves the right to photograph and/or video our décor work at your event for use in our portfolio, website, and social media channels. No personally identifiable information about you or your guests will be shared without your consent.
If you prefer that your event not be featured on our platforms, please notify us in writing prior to your event date.
9. Liability Limitation
Planning By Lili's total liability to the Client for any claims arising out of or related to our services shall not exceed the total amount paid by the Client for those services.
Planning By Lili is not responsible for:
- Damage to the venue or third-party property caused by guests.
- Weather-related issues affecting outdoor events.
- Delays or cancellations caused by third-party vendors not contracted by Planning By Lili.
- Personal injury occurring at the event venue.
10. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Miami-Dade County, Florida.
11. Changes to These Terms
Planning By Lili reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. The version in effect at the time of your booking confirmation will govern your agreement. We will notify you of any material changes via email.
